A fashion show for your LPS? What a great idea! Here is how to set up the show and have a pretend fashion show that'll keep you occupied for hours.

  1. 1

Decide which of your LPS will be the models for the show. Other LPS will be needed for judging and to be in the audience.

  1. 1

Gather up all of the clothes you have. Any other doll clothes that will fit can be used too, along with any clothing you've made yourself.

    • Select the clothes that will be modeled on the catwalk.
  1. 1

Find a suitable box to be the catwalk stage. A shoebox is ideal but any other box of similar shape and length will work too. A toy stage will also work.

  2. 2

Decide whether it needs to be jazzed up. This can be as easy as covering it with nice paper or you might paint it all one color (like white, black or pink). If wished, add logos, patterns, and names as well.

  3. 3

Allow any glue or paint to dry before using the catwalk stage.

  1. 1

Place the catwalk stage in the center of the show.

  2. 2

Make a dressing area/room. This is optional but fun; arrange the clothes on a "table" or flat surface for the LPS to change near.

    • Another cardboard box could be used to make the dressing room; turn it over on its side and face the back of it to the stage. Cover the back with the same paper or paint as the stage, so that it appears seamless. Inside, hang or fold clothes and treat this as the changing area.
  3. 3

Arrange any seating around the stage. This could be doll chairs, blocks, boxes, plastic containers or anything that can serve as seating.

  4. 4

Add accessories if wished. Some ideas include:

    • Position a desk lamp so that it shines over the catwalk.
    • Place up pictures of famous models.
    • Include refreshments for audience and judges; the models should have some in the changing area. Choose 1-2 LPS or other dolls to serve the refreshments.
    • Add brushes and combs, mirrors, perfume, shampoo, dressing tables, etc. to the changing area.
  5. 5

Consider having music. Use a portable music player to play music in the background.

  1. 1

Make an agenda for the show. Build up to the showing the best clothes last. If you are really keen, make flyers setting out the agenda for the audience and judges.

  2. 2

Seat the judges near the catwalk. Seat the audience in their places.

  3. 3

Turn on the light. Play the music, if using.

  4. 4

Let the show begin. Parade the models, change them and complete the show.

    • You might like to have a "host" LPS who explains the outfits to everyone.
  5. 5

Have the judges pass their comments on the clothes. Select a winning outfit.

  6. 6

Share the refreshments around at the end.

  • Question

How many LPS should I have?

    Community Answer

You would need 2-4 judges and as many models as you would like! You could also have your mascot be the host, but the pets serving refreshments is very optional.

  • Question

How can I make clothes for LPS toys?

    Community Answer

  • Pack everything away neatly afterward. If you want to keep the stage, etc., put these somewhere safe for next time.

  • You might want to keep all the clothing somewhere safe for next time you're in a mood for an LPS fashion show.

  • Be creative about your show. It is your show after all! Try to come up with a creative brand name for your clothes. Some examples are Cocomo, Doggy Designer, etc. Or you could create some that are plays on real brand names, such as Abecorgi and Fetch, Arpupstle, and Christoper And Bones.
